Dedicated fans of Babylon 5 will immediately recognize this piece: a faithful restoration and oil painting recreation of the official portrait hanging in Ambassador Londo Mollari’s quarters aboard the station.
Because the original prop only appeared briefly in the background of the set, references were low-resolution and obscure. I took on the challenge of reconstructing every detail from screen grabs, recreating the texture and regal posture of the Centauri diplomat with oil technique while preserving the authentic look of the television prop.
