Come on, one bite won´t hurt!

We come to the end of this series of paintings with «The Sin of Gluttony», the seventh painting of the Seven Deadly Sins (of Space) series.

Gluttony is the overindulgence and overconsumption of anything to the point of waste, especially food. This sin also includes certain forms of destructive behavior, like substance abuse or drunkenness.

Being the most recent painting in the series you can clearly see an evolution in my style if you compare it to the first one (The Sin of Wrath).

For the creation of this painting, I always had a clear idea of using a bloated astronaut but I was not sure what to do with the helmet.

One day I came across a cat that doesn’t seem very happy to see me and he snorted at me. I found his jaws quite scary and I realized that something like that would be perfect for the painting.
