New painting: Beware of the Gorn!

I am a huge Star Trek fan and I recently reviewed one of the most iconic episodes of the original series, named «Arena».

The Gorn suit. Not very sexy.

Perhaps you will remember it as is the episode in which Kirk must fight the Gorn, a (not very) frightening reptiloid alien in one of the lamest, but funny, fight scenes of all time.

It is a great episode and I´m sure that the original idea was not to make it a comedic episode but the way these two fight and throw cardboard rocks at each other is hilarious.

While it was certainly charming, the original rubber suit didn´t look very impressive and I think the poor Gorn always deserved a more frightening look so Ii think it is the perfect subject for a new painting!
