In this piece, I wanted to convey the mythic tension of Arrakis at its most elemental: the endless expanse of shifting dunes, the haze of spice in the wind, and the colossal silhouette of Shai-Hulud breaking the horizon.
The artwork depicts the quiet, decisive moment just before the Fremen approach the giant beast, capturing both the terrifying scale of the sandworm and the ancient reverence of those who dare to ride it across the open sands.
